楊萬里《春暖郡圃散策三首(其三)》“Strolling in the Prefecture Garden in the Warmth of Spring (No. 3)” by Yang Wanli (1127-1206)

春禽處處講新聲,

細草欣欣賀嫩晴。

曲折遍穿花底路,

莫令一步作虛行。

Spring fowl hither and thither sing their new tunes;

Fine grass with vim and vigour celebrates the tender day and fair.

[I] wind my way through all the paths beneath the blossoms

Not letting a single step be taken in vain.
