"Feng zhu tu" 風竹圖, hanging scroll by Tang Yin 唐寅 (1470-1524)
滿窓蕭洒五更風，The rustling of the wind at dawn fills the window
恠是無端攪夢中。Unfathomably, for no reason, interrupting a dream.
夢見故人忙起望，Seeing an old friend in my dream, [I] sat up at once, looking around,
白煙寒竹路西東。[Only to find] white mist and cold bamboo by the road from west to east.
Zou Lixi from Nantang passed by my Hall of the Horticulture Apprentice and spoke of a good friend from Nansha, so [I] produced this work for him.
